Scattle - Knock Knock from Hotline Miami (An Historic Accordion Cover)
(Produced by Scattle) I don't normally go for ultraviolent video games on a regular basis, but the mechanics of Hotline Miami were so compelling that it was difficult for me to put the game down, even as my stomach turned at some of the more brutal kills. The soundtrack was full of gems, evoking a late 80s - early 90s feel without too much undue nostalgia - but I thought Scattle's contributions to the soundtrack were among the few that not only helped to place the game in its era, but helped to evoke the growing psychosis of the main character throughout the main plot. And of course, hearing the gated bass-line made me instantly think of a bellows-shake, which was what got me started on this cover in the first place.
