Problems connecting to certain websites - How to set manual DNS address on Windows 10
This video is in response to the post by /u/Vegetable_Dog on how to see if DNS was causing issues connecting to Ubisoft and Steam. Orginal question was: Internet issue?? Proxy issue?? Idk. I just can’t connect to certain servers. For example Ubisoft I am running into this weird issue on the computers on my internet ?? So on my computer I can’t access servers that have to do with Ubisoft or blizzard as well as websites like micro center and just other random ones. Steam gives me an error screen and then loads like 5 min later. Everything is telling me to check my network and proxy settings. I have no proxy’s on and my internet connection/ speeds are working perfectly. This is also happening on my second pc and my sisters pc that I just built. I did notice that is is only happening on windows systems and works perfectly fine on my iPhone/iPad/ MacBook. Someone please help I just wanna go back to playing video games. I have only been playing rocket league cause it’s the only game that allows me to connect to servers. It does freeze however after like 4-5 games and says connection error so idk.
