Mary's Theme - Ib piano cover!
Hello again, anime/piano/video game community! I'm back once more with a song from one of my personal favorite games of all time- Ib! First of all, if you haven't played this game yet, you need to play it. Like, right now. You can close out this video and start playing, I won't be offended. Anyways, this song is the theme of the character Mary, one of the three main characters. She isn't my favorite character (Garry totally is! ^-^) but I decided to upload her theme anyways. Why? Because Mary's character is enthralling. Her story is so interesting. I believe this song sums up her different feelings throughout the game. I put three different sections in her song to represent her various struggles. (Spoiler Alert! Stop now if you haven't played the game!) 0:00-0:48 - This section shows how she was cheerful upon first sight. I used the staccato notes for a fun feel. 0:48-1:36 - This section represents the anger and desperation she begins to feel when Ib starts choosing Garry over her. 1:36-2:23 - This section demonstrates how her world lays in ashes, and how she was forsaken by her friends. I also put in a bit of original twist in the song just for fun! (0:50-0:57) Oh, and I highly suggest checking out the fanmade lyrics for this song sung by LittleJayneyCakes! I love her cover!
