APPLYING TO COLLEGE IN THE USA VS UNIVERSITY IN AUSTRALIA !!

hi friends!! I hope you enjoy this fun video on the many differences between applying to college in America and university in Australia! like I mentioned in the video, there are definitely exceptions but I think that, generally, the differences in the processes are really interesting. I'm never sure if anyone actually does open this, so leave me a '☀️' in the comments if you've seen this. anyway, I thought I would start writing some little life updates in here because my videos and vlogs often come out a few weeks after they're filmed, so I'm going to update you here on a few things that have happened more recently (I.e. in the last week). spring is finally upon us here in the north-east of the US, and all the snow has finally (almost melted). literally the only place in new haven where there is still a pile of snow right now is in lane 1 of the outdoor athletics track! there's no snow ANYWHERE apart from the one place where we actually don't want there to be snow and it's become a bit of a joke on our team now because it hasn't snowed in so long and there is no snow literally anywhere else in new haven (there's snow in lane 1 because in february, they shovelled the snow off the grass on the inside of the track and into lane 1 because apparently the soccer players are more important than us runners :( ... but now the snow everywhere else in new haven has melted except in lane 1). so it's been getting a bit warmer here and next week is forecasted to be our first week where all the maximum daily temperatures are double digits!!! woohoo!!!!! we're also halfway through the semester now (just finished week 8) which is SO crazy. I can't believe I'm close to the end of my freshman year. my classes are going well (except for spanish lol) and I've had a pretty ok week compared to the previous few weeks. oh and it was my birthday this week (you might have seen on instagram) and my suitemates and I ordered pizza and had cupcakes. I'm 19 now - one more year of being a teenager!
