Python and JavaScript Mentorship program: Day 1

We will be having two classes every week, Tuesday and Thursday at 8:00 PM East African Time == 6:00 PM West African Time, ( The classes link will be sent 2:00PM EAT == 12:00 noon WAT ) and a Ask me Anything session every Monday at 8:00 PM EAT which is equivalent to 6:00 PM EAT) On Tuesdays we will handle Python. On Thursdays we will handle JavaScript. Also note that we will be having video tutorial and article to cover your content, And all finalist will be enrolled to a two months LuxDevHQ Internship program and get a t-shirt after completing the internship. Setting Up Development environment: 1). Make sure that your profile is set up, add a profile photo, name and what you are aspiring to be eg. software engineer, data analyst, data engineer or data scientist. 2). Create a Version control system account preferably a GitHub account. 3). Create an account with your favourite blogging page, it can be your personal website, dev.to, medium, hashnode etc 4). Set up your working environment: For python, Install anaconda ( https://www.anaconda.com/products/individual: for starters or data science enthusiast ), for software developers/engineers install python interpreter ( preferably Python 3.8 : https://www.python.org/downloads/release/python-380/ ) and a text editor ( preferably VS Code https://code.visualstudio.com/ ). For JavaScript, install nodejs ( https://nodejs.org/en/ ) and a text editor ( https://code.visualstudio.com/ ).
