He faces numerous horrors, all brought forth by the four houses that lord over the village, House Demitrescu, House Beneviento, House Moreau, and House Heisenberg. The recent DLC expansion, Shadow of Rose, focuses on Ethan's daughter, Rosemary Winters, sixteen years after the events of the main game, as she "returns" to the village in search of answers. The DLC also features the addition of 3rd person mode, and new content for the Mercenaries Game Mode including the ability to play as Lady Demitrescu herself!
