MAMMOTHSLAYER - [TOTALLY ACCURATE BATTLE SIMULATOR (T.A.B.S. EP3)]
Decided to drop the rest of the next episode of this series early, not just a little bonus episode. Aptly named video file: "clearing space" is here in part 1 to continue with the content dump of slightly older stuff as newer stuff gets recorded that can take its place. Hope you guys enjoy! In this episode we start off (as seen in the bonus episode before this one) by diving into the fight as a participant to help stave off the mammoth, not just watching from above! Basically I was just experimenting around with the game mechanics here mostly, on the very first map selectable, using a variety of troops in escalating degrees of lethality, up to and including the mammoth, which absolutely dominated almost everytime. In this episode however, it comes up against SUPERNATURAL competition. 'Will it still fare well?!' I wondered... ...it in fact did NOT! THE MAMMOTH HAS FINALLY MET HIS MATCH! This is a result of Chromium support ending, which the Steam browser and store is based on. [UPDATE: As of late January, Steam works fine for Windows 8, and same with Windows 7, but the latter displays a message at the top of the client saying it will stop running on Windows 7 in "0" days. It's said this for a few weeks now, however older games were still working. Get a backup going though!] [UPDATE: As of mid - February (Happy belated Valentine's Day!), Steam works fine for Windows 8, TBD on Windows 7] ______________________
