1960's V12 Ferrari's Racing at Spa - 275 GTB/C, 250 GT SWB - Beautiful Sound!
When I went to the Spa Classic event in 2022 I was pretty unprepared and underequipped. My very outdated camera struggled to do the beautiful shots justice and worse yet, I had nowhere near enough storage to film the overwhelming amount of amazing cars I was seeing. As a result I was forced to focus on my personal highlights and just sit out some cool sessions as a spectator. The ''Greatest Trophy'' series was one of those sessions but upon seeing and hearing these legendary Ferrari's I still hastily tried to get some shots together in the hopes to make a small video. I had slightly forgotten about this classics footage until now so here's the little clip of some incredibly cool (and expensive) Italian heritage. The car most prominently featured is the #7 1966 275 GTB/C. In the middle you catch a glimpse of the red 1966 275 GTB/4. Both cars are powered by a 3.3L Colombo V12 producing around 280 horsepower. Incredibly, a 1966 GTB/C is estimated to be worth over 10 million euros and the GTB/4 around 3 million. The other cars are 1960, 1961 and 1962 250 GT SWB's, powered by Tipo 3.0L V12's, producing between 240 and 280 horsepower. The #63 I know is a Berlinetta Competizione model worth many millions and the #20 is a ''standard'' Berlinetta that sold for 2.7 million euros in 2010. The last one I suspect will be worth a similar amount of money. These very famous and succesful 250 GTO predecessors are worth an absolute fortune these days ranging from 1-10 million depending on state, heritage and trim. Massive respect to the owners for driving them, never mind doing so quite fast on a race track. #ferrari #250 #275 #v12 #racing #1960s #classic #spafrancorchamps
