Asus G750jx Best Notebook for gaming 2014, The Asus G750JX is very impressive. It can take all the games I throw at it. Metro 2033 at 1680x1050 Ultra High is very smooth. The Sims 3 also at 1680x1050 has no noticeable lag at all. Under normal load there is no sound. I have to put my ear very near to hear a bare whisper. Only under very heavy load for extended time, there is a low hissing sound from the back. Very quiet. Much less quieter than my old desktop. There is not any noticeable increase in temperature on the surface keyboard or the hand rest. Two small things I don't like about G750JX. First, Windows 8. I downgraded to Windows 7 SP1.
