Grant Reynolds is a first-call Atlanta guitarist, singer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist. Known for his technical proficiency, adaptability, and well-rounded musicality, Grant has been a respected and influential player on the Atlanta music scene since 2008. Raised in a musical family, Reynolds began playing the drums. Prior to high school, percussion gave way to guitar and mandolin. However, Grant continued marching band until college. Grant joined a band from a neighboring high school in Tucker, GA., which happened to include Clay Cook (Zac Brown Band). The band did some regional shows, and Reynolds’ musical career continued with a move to Los Angeles in 1999 after the band went their separate ways. While living in California, Reynolds immersed himself in session work, live performances, and various creative projects. Las Vegas “casino circuit” included touring with an Elton John/Billy Joel tribute band, for which Reynolds was the musical director. Returning to Atlanta in 2008, Reynolds became actively involved in a series of successful original projects: Heather Luttrell Brian Collins Band Gareth Asher Davin McCoy Lefty Williams Band Francisco Vidal Sonia Leigh Yacht Rock Schooner Reynolds & Williams Band (co-founded with Joel Williams, formerly of ZBB) Ed Roland & The Sweet Tea Project Most recently Grant has been touring with Barry Waldrep’s “Smoke From The Kitchen” project, which includes members of The Allman Brothers Band, The Marshall Tucker Band, and Mountain Heart.
