Critical Info for Windows 8 Users and New Computers
If you don't do this after unboxing your computer, you could be vulnerable to hacks, firewall issues, viruses, trojans etc. On this computer - Acer V3 771G 9809 - Gaming - nvidia GeForce GT 650 2GB VRAM, 8GB RAM, Intel 3632QM, HM77, the updates weren't set for "scheduled install" until a week from first boot! Do these updates! You can get a virus or trojan simply by surfing the internet w/out them. I personally don't do any surfing or installing software until the OS, software, firmware, pre-installed firewall/virus protection and everything is updated. Only then do I hop on the internet, download my preferred firewall/virus software and install them, then do all my other installations, gaming etc.
