Face Turning Rhombic Dodecahedron Part 1: Help me with this parity!

So I thought I would jump in with a solve of the face turning rhombic dodecahedron. This shows the puzzle, and demonstrates the approach I take to a new puzzle. First I catigorize it, work out some strategy, then jump into a solve. We finish this part with a parity. Can you help me figure out how to get out of it??
