How to connect iPod classic to iPad 4 to expand memory
I thought I discovered a new method to expand the iPad memory but it seems someone else tried this already. The other video doesn't require a jailbreak but it does require very specific renaming of files. If you have a jailbroken ipad this is pretty simple. Here are some details about my video: - iPad 4 ios 6.1.2 jailbroken with evasi0n [http://evasi0n.com/] - iPod Classic 120GB - lightning to USB connector (camera connection kit) - XBMC app [http://xbmc.org/] - iFile app [lots of tutorials on you tube...] Why bother? My iPad is 16GB. It is really not that much and I have also been trying to find a new purpose for my iPod. Other methods involve using usb hubs, powered hard disk drives or flash disks and they can become a little bit excessive when it comes to items required. What i can do now is load my ipod with content using a simple drag and drop then carry my ipod, cable and usb adapter and I'm ready to rock! This is by far the simplest method i have seen yet.
