- Pioneer KEH-P8250-W face plate successfully mated to an American model KEH-P8200 head deck - Pioneer CDX-P1280 12-disc multi-CD player - All wired up for in-home use, tapping the 12V output of an old IBM AT power supply - Front L&R audio outputs connected to Pioneer VSX-AX5Ai receiver (equivalent to American model VSX-56TXi) - Front speakers are Krix Euphonix floorstanders -=- Demonstration of -=- * Cassette 00:56 * FM tuner 06:47 * CD 10:31 The Pioneer KEH-P8250-W (W = woodgrain) face plate & remote control are original to my car audio system of late 1995 (purchased new in Australia). The rest of that system is now lost. The CDX-P1280 CD stacker and bare KEH-P8200 head unit were acquired 2017... Pioneer KEH-P8200 was sold in the USA, the KEH-P8250 in Australia, Asia, Middle East etc and the KEH-P8200RDS in Europe. They really only differ in the tuner section. If you disable "ID Logic" and "RDS" functions you get a regular AM/FM tuner able to seek across the entire band. The face plates and remote controls should all be interchangeable although some buttons may operate different functions when paired to a non-matching model. * For more background and details of how the IBM AT PSU wiring was achieved please visit:- https://www.cvxmelody.net/#PIONEER
