Ys VI - Ark of Napishtim (PC) ~ [Nightmare] Demi-Galba
Beating I & II Chronicles on Nightmare wasn't satisfying enough, so I'm playing through this game too, and recording my amazing boss battles FOR THE ENTIRE INTERNET TO SEE. I beat the game on Hard about a year ago, so I kind of know what I'm doing. Died a few times before I worked out a safe enough pattern to stab him, but then he was cake: Three hits to the crotch-eye after each swipe, and one after firebreaths. I might have been able to squeeze in another hit during the swipes if I stayed closer, but his arms have weird hitboxes and I don't trust this game at all(his elbow can damage you if you're near it after the swipe, as he moves his arm back...). I needed to leave enough time to get to the bottom of the screen before his next attack, since the firebreath was a jerk(I have no idea how to bait either attack), and I could only avoid it reliably if I started there and ran along the edge to the left. Sometimes he does that weird sweepy firebreath thing instead, but I don't think that even hits the bottom of the arena, so it's not very dangerous. Geis can eat a dick though, he doesn't get a video.
