Big Buck Hunter Reloaded-Spotlight Tournament Playthroughs
For Big Buck HD, Big Buck HD WILD, & Big Buck Hunter Reloaded, operators can create custom tournaments for their machines. They can choose whatever sites and Bonuses they want, how many Treks they want it to be, what prizes to offer, and more. In fact, this is how qualifying for the World Championship used to work before the introduction of Pro mode. Play Mechanix would run national tournaments in different countries to determine which people from which countries would move on to the WC. This is the way it worked until 2017. From around 2008 until the end of 2012, Play Mechanix also ran monthly national tournaments on Big Buck Hunter Pro & Big Buck Safari that would revolve around a specific theme for that month. The monthly national tournaments returned to Big Buck HD in February 2017, and ran until April 2017. They ran again in January 2018 until April 2018. However, these monthly tournaments actually consisted of 4-5 weekly tournaments all revolving around one theme for that month. National tournaments have not been created by Play Mechanix ever since Pro mode was introduced in May 2018. The only way to play custom tournaments nowadays is if an operator sets them up or invites other operators to participate.
