What if Napoleon had never risen to power? In Legacy of 1790, an alternate Europe stands on the brink of its first great war since the French Revolution. Prussia, whilst unable to unify all of Germany due to the lack of a threat to unify against, has presided over 70 years of Pax Prussia on the continent. France, where the revolutionary wars lasted them until 1853, saw a short-lived revival of the monarchy and then a short-lived republic, before a collectivist revolution swept them back into prominence in Europe. Now they are engaged with Prussia in an arms race, to determine who will reign supreme over Europe. Meanwhile England looks on, uncertain of the role they must play in determining the fate of not just Europe, but the world. And the wider world is also not standing idly by. Japan, America and China all find themselves in crisis and must determine what must be done for their way of life to survive.
