Stalingrad was premiered by ATRIBE: and the Volgograd Symphony Orchestra in Volgograd, Russia on 7 and 9 May 1995 to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe. Junglen and ATRIBE: reprised the Stalingrad concerto in Volograd on 16 May 1998 as part of a program on 20th century American composers put on by the conductor Edward Serov and the Volgograd Symphony Orchestra. The historical film footage in the video was obtained from U.S. and Russian archival sources.
