Get 144Hz on Your M1 Mac | BenQ
What is a good budget 144Hz gaming monitor that is compatible with a M1 Mac Mini or MacBook Air? The BenQ MOBIUZ EX 2710 display is definitely a great option for both PC and a Mac, however I did test this monitor on the M1 Mac Mini and the M1 MacBook Air and they both work great, and will also get that 144Hz refresh rate. For a gaming monitor under $300USD it's really a top choice in my opinion. I will be testing this monitor on a PC build that is happening soon, but on this one I want to focus on the review for MacOS. One thing to note with MacOS display preferences is that it will default to 60Hz refresh rate, so you’ll need to manually go to the display settings and change this when gaming.
