Easy Guide to complete Elusive Fanghorn Salvage Contract | Horizon Forbidden West Walkthrough
In this video, I'm going to give you some tips on how to complete the Salvage contract "Elusive Fanghorn" in Very Hard Difficulty, handed by Larend, the Salvage Contractor in the Barren Light in Horizon Forbidden West. 0:00 Intro + Contract explanation 0:36 Easy Strategy to complete Convoy Ambush Salvage Contract 1:24 Gameplay of the strategy 3:11 Rewards for Convoy Ambush Salvage Contractor Be prepared to get annoyed because jumping into this contract is a test of patience for anyone. Once you arrive at the location of the Fanghorn you will soon notice that this guy moves nonstop aaaand, the worst of all, he is always surrounded by these Lancehorns that make things more difficult. If you come close, it runs in a sort of circular pattern around this area, so... this is what worked for me. First of all, as soon as you make contact with it, activate your focus and slowly get closer until you can get the option to tag the Fanghorn, this will make it easier for you to know where this thing is going. Second, you need to have a charger to ride. This is essential, to complete this as it will allow you to smash into and deal the initial hits or catch up with it in case it escapes. Third, be sure to equip the fire hunter bow to blow the canister on its back for massive knock damage and the rope caster to tie it up and prevent it from escaping and hopefully bring him down fast.
