My favourite Mac shortcut hack - text replace [Macbook]
This is my favourite little mac hack. It took me 2 minutes to setup and I've saved hours and hours of time. I no longer need to type out my 'Regards' or my email address, but simply type a few letters instead. The most common ones I use are: Ch = Cheers, Tristan (For end of emails and messages - I don't like to have an email signature setup because I find them annoying when they look automatic) tde = tristan@terrific.digital (This I use in web forms, email addresses, adding to CC, in sms or whatsapp or linkedin messages, or many other places. It's actually surprising how often you need to type out your email address.) However, there are many uses for this and you don't need to limit it to just a few words. You could also make it a sentence or include emojis or whatever you can think of. Share in the comments how you like to you use and and maybe others can learn from your examples.
