Fave VGM #671: "Subterranean Theme" ~ Andrew Morris
Frogger for the arcade is an addictive evasion game where you try to get a frog across a busy highway and then a crowded river to his pads on the far bank. Frogger II: Swampy's Revenge for the PS1 uses the same classic evasion gameplay but adds so much to the mix like many different areas to explore, the task to rescue five baby frogs in each level, and cool new enemies and obstacles to avoid. It breathes in new life into a classic arcade icon and made it one of my favorite game franchises. Of course, the first Frogger of the PS1 was the first to bring Frogger into the 3D realm but I feel the it's sequel is the better of the two and was more innovative.
