GSJ2021: Session 8 - Crime statistics for evidence-based policymaking
The 5th International Conference on Governance, Crime and Justice Statistics was organized by UNODC-INEGI’s Centre of Excellence in Statistical information on Government, Crime, Victimization and Justice, and delivered in an online format from 14 to 17 June 2021. The session was moderated by Mr. Dae-Hoon Kwak, Chungnam University, Republic of Korea, who was joined by KiDeuk Kim, Justice Policy Centre at Urban Institute, United States of America. The session provided an overview of data collection and evidence-based policymaking in criminal justice systems, with national examples from Republic of Korea and United States of America.
