War Thunder: Tx's Tips Part 8 - Hunting Bombers
In this installment of Tx's Tips, we shall be taking an in depth look at how I go about engaging enemy bombers in Fighters both with higher and lower caliber weaponry. Bombers form the basis of the main offensive from an enemy team in a standard Arcade Ground Strike match, especially as you head to higher Battle Rating games (i.e. 4.0+) whereby one bomber can eliminate an airfield in the space of four to eight passes. As a result, they are usually depicted as the looming threat, and their combination of high durability and firepower can disturb any potential interceptor. The goal of this video is to highlight how one does not have to essentially "kill" the bomber to achieve the desired result of preventing base bombing. Instead one merely needs to prevent the bomber from making it to target, or continuing on its chosen level bombing strategy. If you can achieve this, then the mission is already accomplished. NOTE: This video has been rendered in 720p due to rendering issues. My current PC build cannot handle rendering videos of length 45+ minutes in 1080p. I apologize for any inconvenience caused.
