She witnessed the ferocity of hellspawn firsthand as the demons ravaged her village and left her for dead. Now, with no people to call her own, her only allegiance is to her cause: to rid Sanctuary of the demonic filth corrupting its lands. Valla strikes at her enemies from afar and gains hatred, increasing her move speed and basic attack damage. She can vault away if enemies get too close In the world of Sanctuary Demon Hunters are spoken of in whispers. They are as feared as the demons they hunt and for good measure. Valla, like all demon hunters, walks a fine line between the tides of corruption from the enemies she faces and giving in to the sea of writhing hatred that fuels her quest to rid her world of the forces of Hell. The only thing that saves her is her incredible discipline that tempers all of her actions since answering the call of her order. Valla's story starts many years ago when she was a young child. She lived a quiet life in a small town in the Eastern Kingdoms with her parents and younger sister Halissa. Her life changed when a demon horde descended upon her community and butchered everyone. Valla and her sister were the only two to survive the slaughter, her parents and everyone else she had ever known were killed merciless by the demons. Valla and Halissa ran into the forests surrounding her home for safety. Eventually the stress of narrowly surviving a demon attack, living like an animal in the woods and the constant fear that they would be discovered became too much for Halissa to handle and she snapped in the middle of a violent rain storm. ------- Each hero in Heroes of the Storm has abilities that relate to it's primary role/type: Warrior, Assassin, Assassin, Support, and Specialist. You gain XP as a team by killing enemy minions and heroes. Heroes of the Storm gameplay consists of using your hero and his or her talents to kill enemy minions, complete map objectives, and fend off enemy heroes. There are 5 maps/battlegrounds currently in the Heroes of the Storm alpha; Blackheart's Bay, Dragon Shire, Haunted Mines, Cursed Hollow, and the Garden of Terror. Each map has different objectives you'll need to complete to win. Blackheart's Bay is a map in Heroes of the Storm where the gameplay consists of collecting gold coins/doubloons to pay Blackheart to blast enemy structures with cannon balls. Chests spawn around Blackheart's Bay occasionally and they are dropped by minion camps as well. Each time you pay up the price goes up a bit. Collect coins and kill you enemies while they turn in their own. The 2nd Heroes of the Storm battleground is Dragon Shrine. 2 towers occasionally become active and you must claim both and then have an allied player take control of the Dragon Knight. The Dragon Knight is a powerful creature who excels at smashing enemy defenses. Haunted Mines has the players collecting skulls from the underground mines to summon a golem. Whoever collects the most skulls creates a more poweful golem, though both teams do get their own. Assist your golem and destroy the enemy's!
