First 30 Days Airbnb Host Review w/ Overall Experience & Earnings! A must watch video if you're thinking about becoming an Airbnb host! In this video we have an honest review of my first 30 days as an Airbnb host! I had no prior experience with hosting people through Aribnb or other similar websites like Vrbo, Booking, HomeAway, Etc. The video goes in depth what it's like to post your place for rent, getting your first guests, overall experience and of course a breakdown of how much revenue and profits I made from being a host! Earn $25 and become and Airbnb Host! - https://www.airbnb.com/r/kevins672?s=6&t=061n Get $65 off Your First Airbnb Booking as a Guest! - https://www.airbnb.com/c/kevins672?currency=USD This video is broken up into seven parts for my over experience with hosting guests on Airbnb: 1) Listing Your Place on Airbnb - 3:47 Overall the whole process to list your place on Airbnb is very simple. It only took me 20-30 to start to finish to have my bedroom available for guest to stay at. 2) Receiving Your First Booking Requests - 4:53 Airbnb does a good job at promoting new listings to potential guest. First they push it towards the front of the listings for newly added places and you also have the option to offer a 20% to 3 of the first guest that book your listing. 3) Guest Experiences - 5:57 Overall I had a really positive experience with my guests so far. It helps that I'm personally staying with the guests, because I can monitor what's actually happening. All of the guests have been very respectable to my place and to myself. 4) Negative Experiences - 7:32 You always here HORROR stories when it comes to people hosting on Airbnb. I believe these are far and few between. Of course you're going to run into bad apples every once in awhile, but I don't believe they happen as often as you think. Plus if you'd like you can set it to where you can accept or decline any quest staying at your place beforehand if you get a bad impression. 5) Other Considerations - 8:28 Some other considerations that I necessary didn't think about before listing my place on Airbnb for a shared listing were; being flexible to guest requests, cleaning my place, and buying furniture as well as other small items that really add up. Amazon link to Bedframe - 6) Earnings from Airbnb for the first 30 days - 11:02 As stated in the video, I made just under $500 for the first 30 days on Airbnb as a host. As time goes on you become more efficient in becoming a host and I have dramatically increase how much I make month now. Fast forward two months later, I added another bedroom and make 3x times as much as I made in my first months. Thanks to increase pricing, cleaning and being able to book more days. Think of it as a small business that gets more and more efficient each month! 7) Recommendations for People Considering Hosting on Airbnb - 12:12 Overall It's been 3 months since this video has been published that I've been hosting on Airbnb. I've had a very positive experience and I will continue to host on the platform. I would highly recommend anyone who's thinking about becoming a host to do it! You can always try it out for a week to see how everything goes. After the first 30 days, you can make it really hands off if you'd like with all the automatic tools Airbnb gives you, as well as the 3P software out there.
