ESTACIÓN DEL ESTE (Barcelona) live recording at "Tinta Roja", Noviembre 2016 Estación del Este es un proyecto de klezmer y música del Este de Europa y del Oriente Medio, música de los viajeros, emigrantes y nómadas de los principios del siglo 20. Nos encontramos en la Estación, unos recién llegados y otros preparados para irse. Todos venimos de diferentes lugares, lo que nos une es la mirada hacia el Este, y pasión por la música de los países imaginarios, tiempos olvidados y tierras lejanas. Compartiremos estos momentos de tránsito y será la fiesta de bienvenida y de despedida, hasta el amanecer, en la Estación del Este. _____________________________________________ A project dedicated to klezmer , East European music and Middle Eastern Music, music of nomads, emigrants, traveller from the beginning of the 20th century. We met at the station , some have just arrived, and others are about to leave. Each coming from a different place, and the thing we have in common is that look towards the east, and a passion for the music of imaginary countries, forgotten times and faraway worlds. We'll share those moments of transit and it'll be a feast until the dawn, at the East Station.
