O estudo do comportamento humano através do cérebro, focado na cognição cromática

Fernando Moreira da Silva ---------------- 6º EIMAD / 6th EIMAD SESSÃO 1 / SESSION 1 22 FEVEREIRO / QUINTA FEBRUARY 22 / THURSDAY 11:15 ---------------- Abstract: Human Beings establish personal relationships with Colour. However, most of our reactions are still unknown. Recently there has been research which identifies the areas of the brain that are activated during the chromatic phenomenon, as well as we can measure the behavior of humans with regard to colour issues. The visible brain consists of multiple functionally specialized areas that receive their input largely from two areas of the brain known as V1 and the area around it known as V2. These are currently the best mapped visual areas, but they are not the only ones. Through these areas the Human Being perceives Colour and these can be more or less stimulated when we see different colours. Thus, a quasi-experience with users is being developed using Virtual Reality (VR), in order to verify the brain reactions to the different colour dimensions, in particular colour cognition, comparing the results obtained with those of other methods previously used, such as survey, direct observation and literature review. This paper focuses on the acquisition of scientific knowledge in the area of chromatic cognition, which can serve as a projective tool for designers, as well as a reference to the use of Colour for users in general. As expected results, we intend to achieve a systematization of scientific knowledge reusable by all within the scope of interaction Colour/User; and produce guidelines that could serve as a projective tool for the use and application of colour in design projects. ---------------- http://eimad.ipcb.pt
