Warhammer 40k Horde Mode: Singpleayer fun
Playing a horde mode singleplayer thing for warhammer 40k for funs. The rough rules I used for this game (I explain em in the video too). Warhammer Forever Alone Horde Mode What You Need: • Table, terrain, mat, etc (All the gubbins to make your game look good.) • 2+ Forces. The “enemy” here should outnumber your player forces but generally be at some kind of disadvantage. • Core Rules, codexes, dice, rulers, FAQs. (Anything to play the base game of 40k with your forces). Rules: • Place an objective anywhere on the battlefield. • Place your player models within 3 inches of this objective. If this objective does not have a player model within 3 inches but has a “enemy” model within 3 inches at any time, it is considered destroyed. • Move each model independently. They are all treated as being separate units.. • There is no morale phase or coherency checks. • Place 6 +d6 enemies on the board at the start of the first turn. For each subsequent turn place that turn worth of d6 enemies on the board (on turn two place 2d6, turn three 3d6, etc) • The player always goes first. Enemy Logic: • Movement Phase o If they are a primarily shooting unit, move to be able to shoot, prioritize moving to cover if possible or fallback if in combat. Otherwise move as far as possible toward the closest player unit. • Shooting / Combat Phase o Hit the closest player unit, if two player units are the same distance hit the weakest one. • Charge Phase o If they are a primarily melee unit, charge closest player unit, otherwise do nothing. Victory: • Objective is not destroyed, and a player model survives until the end of turn 5.
