iPhone 5 Homemade Dock
Finished my homemade/custom iPhone 5 dock. Being that Apple opted to not release a dock with the iPhone 5, I immediately began coming up with ideas in my head about something I could custom build. I found a few people online who were doing something similar, but their's were quick and dirty and I wanted something a little more elegant. While I am no master woodworker, I think I did OK for my first attempt. Used clear pine, cut it too size, sand and smoothed it out, stained it, added the logo and finally worked in the Lightning cable for the iPhone 5. I think it turned OK, but I'm already thinking about a much smaller Version 2. Any thoughts or suggestions, I would love to hear them.
