2013 Infiniti EX - Connecting Procedure
The Infiniti Bluetooth Hands-Free Phone System will allow you to set up a wireless connection between the vehicle phone module and your Bluetooth compatible cellular phone. To enable the connection the vehicle must be stationary; then press the SETTING button on the control panel and select the Bluetooth key on the display screen. Next, select the Connect Bluetooth key. A popup box will appear on the screen, asking if the connection is for the phone system. Press "Yes". The next popup screen will advise you the system is searching for your phone. From your cellular phone's Bluetooth settings function, locate and select a device called "My Car". Input the PIN code, 1234, which will be shown on the Infiniti display screen. This PIN cannot be changed. When the connection is complete, the screen will return to the initial Bluetooth Settings screen. After the phone book has completed downloading, if your phone book supports automatic phone book download, select the Connected Devices key. From this screen, you can select your paired phone as your Bluetooth audio device. You can use the same procedure to connect up to five different cellular phones to your vehicle's Bluetooth. If you go to www.InfinitiUSA.com/bluetooth, you'll find a Compatibility Guide that identifies brands and models of phones that have been confirmed to be compatible with your vehicle's Bluetooth wireless technology system. If your cellular phone is not listed, this does not necessarily mean that it's incompatible, but the website will not be able to offer further assistance for that phone. In this case, please refer to the manufacturer's Owner's Manual for further instructions.
