SONY FX9 vs FS7
Quick and dirty comparison between the Sony PXW-FX9 and the ever trusty PXW-FX9. Both cameras had matching settings with the exception to the white balance. The FX9 has significantly more green tones than the FS7 so I chose to adjust the WB to 5000K and left the FS7’s recommended white balance at 5500K. The same Rec709 utility LUT was applied to both samples in DaVinci Resolve. The last example is with color space transform applied to the FS7 and switched to Alexa LOG-C. I felt like making that simple color space adjustment in post got the FS7 closer to looking like the FX9.
