Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup (DCSS) TUTORIAL: Minotaur Fighter (MiFi) Ep. 4
In this forth episode of the series BoFine, the Tortoise of Okawaru get his first RUNE OF ZOT! We clear the SNAKE PITS and claim the SERPENTINE RUNE. Good times. We then move over to the Vaults and Clear the first 2 floors. Oh yeah, we also get a LARGE SHIELD and an ARTEFACT RING from Okawaru. Tune in to see how pimp these drops turned out to be and how we are looking as we delve deeper into the dungeon! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In my previous DCSS series (Newbie Guide), I used a Human Berserker of Trog with a mace to introduce the game and that particular build. For this series, I am using a different build: MiFi. Minotaur Fighters are EXCELLENT places to start as a new player. I choose an AXE as my starting weapon and OKAWARU as my god to help showcase what these choices can mean for you. (using DCSS v.24) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I love this game. It is hard. VERY hard. Have you ever wanted to play an awesome, evolving, long-lived rogue-like that will tear out your heart with a spoon? This is it! If you've ever wanted to dip your toe in the shark-infested waters of this awesome game, come on in and let me help diminish some of the difficulty curve and get you surviving for more than a few mobs.
