So I bought a strat from Ebay: scalloped neck on an old squier body. It had a rattle can EVH bumblebee stripes finish. Not the greatest but funky. I stripped that off. What you see is the guitar halfway through resurrection. I aim to build a Yngwie type guitar. A string broke before recording and the neck buzzes all over. This video is an archive of how the previous owner probably intended it to sound. Pickup is Seymour Duncan Distortion. Running through a Pod 2.0 on a customised Treadplate based tone I think. And into a Marshall G3R CD. I did three takes and merged them. None were very good.
