Using Display Rec on iPad
Testing the Display Rec application for the iPad. I have been looking for a way to record the video and audio from the iPad so that I can make tutorial videos showing how to use various applications. The option I thought I would need was to use an iPad 3 with the Reflection app to stream the video over wifi and to capture it on the iMac with ScreenFlow. Now it seems I have a workable solution that just about works on my iPad 1. I still think I need to get the new iPad because it will work better an faster because of having more firepower to run processor intensive applications. I tried this on Tweetbot for iOS and that app crashed. I will give it another try though and in any case I will have an iPad 3 in a couple of weeks time anyway.
