Time Lapse Amaryllis Dec 3, 2014 - March 2, 2015
This is the time lapse video that Mark made of the amaryllis flower mom gave us. Mark set it to take a picture every 5 minutes, for a total of 8,000 pictures. It's compiled at a rate of 48 FPS (frames per second). You'll note that the flower disappears for a few moments at one point - we had company and had to move it off the table. Also, the camera got bumped and went out of focus at one point. It's very interesting to see how it weaves between the dining room light during the night and the sunlight in the window during the day. Also interesting how it twists on its stem when it's shriveling up.
