Grimarillion Neidan Pets [Neidan + Nature] Build + Gameplay
The Neidan class has been out for a while, and I wanted to figure out how to use the class pets in a particular build. The build makes use of the two Scarab rings that convert Physical and Fire damage to Acid, as so far it's the only equipment that gives points to the Conjure Yaogui ability and allows it to focus on one damage type - Acid. The Terracotta pet is okay. It excels in mob pack content, but falters a bit against boss fights. It could be made more durable with something like Occultist where BoD regularly heals the pet, but without sources of healing, I stick with the Maul devotion to give the Terracotta a source of sustain. The 35% heal every 8 seconds is a very cool passive ability to have, but having no control over it means that enemy bosses can eat into your Constitution before the heal takes place. Giving pets Slow and Stun Resistance is a nice benefit, and a good slate of pet Resistances is beneficial for pet players as well.
