How to find likely fishing spots
s02e26 Want to find some new fishing spots? For most people finding a fishing spot usually boils down to "so-and-so said". Technology improved everything, the advent of social media has allowed thousands to annoy millions of others by publicly asking for GPS points. ;-) In this video, I attempt to show you some of the things I look for to improve my chances of finding fish when I am looking for new areas. You can also use the Navionics software on your computer by going to https://webapp.navionics.com It is not as feature rich as the tablet/phone app but it is still very useful. Download the app from Google PlayStore or Apple iStore. The app is called "Boating HD" but a search for Navionics will also turn it up. There is a 2-week free trial before you need to decide if it is right for you. I was wrong about the cost of the Navionics subscription in the video, it is only US$21.99 per year. Depending on the exchange rate that is somewhere under AUD$30.00. A real bargain for what you get IMHO.
