Lords of the Fallen (2023) Part 4 - Hushed Saint
Had to summon Kukajin so that I could fight an additional boss during this playthrough. In this game they consider npc's attacking the player to be boss fights. Kukajin and one other npc have to have their questlines failed in order to become boss fights. I was surprised to lose against the saint. Maybe I got lucky the first time I met him or theres a long theory I have that you can read below. Back when I first played ds3 I had the belief that the cautious approach of a first timer is better than the over confidence of a returning player. A first timer lacks knowledge, so by doing research prior to playing you become the best you will ever be for a brief moment. I am reminded of a test that everyone who does the same job as I do must pass. Once upon a time I recall someone said that the day you take that test you are the best you will ever be. I took that test 4 years ago and I think I have made some progress, although what they said still holds weight as I have also forgotten things I learned for that test. After the first playthrough the caution and fear is forgotten and with time skills can be lost. Knowledge and experience become the power that drive the subsequent playthroughs.
