In 2077, John and his family are pre-selected for entrance into Vault 111 in case of a nuclear war. The very same day, The Great War ensues, leaving the world into the deep darkness of a nuclear holocaust. Vault 111, however, like most Vault-Tec vaults, was actually built with the purpose of experimenting on its dwellers. Upon entering the Vault, John and his family are led to "decontamination pods," which in reality are cryogenic pods, and they are subsequently frozen. When John wakes up more than 200 years later, a whole new world awaits...
