The mod aims to transfer Command & Conquer: Generals to the SAGE 2.0 engine. Command & Conquer: Generals Evolution features all the Generals factions, as well as one of three specialist generals to choose from at the beginning of a match. Though it aims to replicate Command & Conquer: Generals as closely as possible, it retains a lot of the character of Command & Conquer. Red Alert 3. The mod retains grid building, engineers to capture structures, the Red Alert 3 building systems and support power tree. It omits a number of Generals units, adds some new units, and modifies others.
