Assetto Corsa Onboard - Round 8 Baku VRC Formula Alpha 2022
01:09:24 Race start 🏁 01:11:08 Porpoising 🐬 01:46:47 Laaaaag!! 🙄 Tonight I was racing the VRC Formula Alpha 2022 mod in Round 8 of our RSL eSports F1 2022 Championship. The mod has porpoising modelled so it was an adventure until... I had to stop with 20 minutes to go as I was getting some super bad lag with spikes lasting half a second which round Baku is not what you need. It caused me to hit the walls several times as the screen froze. A shame as I really like this circuit. The car also seems to have a bug in that when you hit the wall and damage the aero, the porpoising stops and is non existent. I rather like the porpoising being there as it gives an additional level of realism and it caused my rhythm to change when it went.
