Dark Age bug can at least speed up this level from a degree, more importantly remember you only have 15 minutes to finish the Turkish enemies after being done with the nomads attack and bring your bride back to your town, and then rush Imperial to get Bombard Cannons/Cannon Galleons/Fire Ships to finish off the Byzantines/Catalan. I'm happy that this pushed the level down to sub-20.
