Ambient Drone - Microfreak, Soma Ether, PO33 KO - Live Jam
This is a diary. And today I wanted to use everything I have (for now). #13 Ether is fun. It is lots of fun, but it can be kind of challenging to incorporate it into a jam. After a few tries though, I found out that in a certain position behind the looper, it was almost tonal. It was a tone. Or it felt like Ether was producing a tone. A drone. Then it was all about trying to match those tones. Trying to match those droning and fading notes. And then sampling live the Ether through the PO33 so I could make kind of a silly beat. That's something I love about the PO33. No matter the sound, you can sample it into PO's rhythmic patterns and it can become a beat. Well, more or less. Patience! That's what I feel I always lack when playing. Patience!
