Blender 2.8 How to make multi-span Bendy bone beams

I wanted to learn blender 2.8 so I could add more "cowbell" to my videos. I'm just a beginner in blender but I wanted to remember this technique so I made a tutorial that I also think will help other blenderers. blenderists, or blenderians. Are any of these, a thing?
