But it works?! Troubleshooting Ibanez SD9 Distortion Pedal
Here's a quick one - and a little change from the usual program! This SD9 has an unusual fault: IT WORKS. Except - it doesn't. There's no bypass signal when you turn it off. Watch me troubleshoot this thing and roughly explain signal flow and the Ibanez/Maxon JFET switching circuit in the process. I'm not going to spoil the end here but: Even though the fault turned out to be less spectacular than expected (it always is..) I still decided to finish and upload this video here. Maybe there's something usefull for someone in there. http://instagram.com/noisyshack http://HeidemannInstruments.wordpress.com Disclaimer: Company brands and logos in this video belong to their rightful owners and are only used for educational/informational purposes.
