Blackmagic eGPU FAIL Photos App Crashing
Today I received the Blackmagic eGPU to use with my 2017 13" MacBook Pro. I called Apple before the purchase and was assured that this external GPU would help my photos app perform better. The problem is every-time I launched the Photos app the program crashed when I tried to open a photo to edit. After an hour spent with tech support I was told that even if we got the egpu to work without crashing the Photos app that it wouldn't help much if at all because the Photos app is not designed to use it.
