Project SOL Competition Entry (4K Re-Upload)
A re-upload of my Project SOL competition entry in 4K so youtube doesn't crunch it so much. I wondered how I could remix the character provided by Nvidia, naturally it was to turn it into a giant Mecha! This was a blast to make, I learnt a lot about the sequencer and other parts of Unreal i hadn't touched before, like Raytracing. I took a lot of inspiration from blur's Halo cinematics and Pacific Rim. I mixed some kitbash kits in with my own geo to enable me to create the spaces quickly, and created all the materials/textures myself.
