British Council work in Colombia
On 18-20 October 2011, Robert Ness, Director British Council Colombia, took part in the Delivering our Future event held in Spring Gardens, London, where he contributed to a session on emerging markets (focused on Brazil, Mexico and Colombia). Robert Ness, accompanied by the Colombian Ambassador to the UK, Mauricio Rodríguez, also gave a talk on the work of the British Council in Colombia and showed this short video which features some staff members. Since 1940, the British Council has been working in Colombia to promote educational and cultural relations and enhance the reputation of the UK, running programmes in the arts, education, sport, governance and English language.
