An imperative sentence is used to give the command or advice or request. In case of imperative sentences having command, the structure of the active voice is v1 + O. Converting it to passive voice, the structure becomes: Let + O + be + v3 In case of imperative sentences having advice, the structure of the active voice is v1 + O. Converting it to passive voice, the structure becomes: S + should be + v3 In case of imperative sentences having request, the structure of active voice is: please/kindly + v1 + O Converting it to passive voice, the structure becomes: You are requested to + v1 + O Exercise : Close the door.
